Acro Team Tryouts
Excite is heading into our 3rd season of competitive acrobatics and tumbling!
This past year has been great we competed two teams: mini and youth!
We have won first place title in trio, pyramid, toss, and tumble divisions. We welcome you to tryout for our 2024 season!

Tryouts are on May 18th from 10:15-11:30am!
$20 per athlete
MANDATORY PARENT MEETING DURING TRYOUT 10:30-11:00AM
COMMITMENT NOT REQUIRED UNTIL MAY 20TH.
FAQ
What experience do they need? No experience needed, all levels welcome!

What is ACRO team? Acro, short for acrobatics and tumbling, is a new and growing sport. It is a competitive team sport derived from several disciplines including gymnastics, power tumbling, cheerleading, and more.

What does the tryout cost include? It includes the May practices and the tryout.

How many meets? We are still deciding how many meets, but this upcoming year will be a FULL season!
​
What skills do we need? Some examples include: cartwheel, round-off, back walkover, front walkover, standing and running back handspring, etc.

How will we know we made a team? You will receive an email from acro@excitegym.com
​
Commitment to time? 2 practices per week
​
What is the parent meeting for? It will serve to answer all questions and go over financials
​
Ages for try-outs? 5-18
