Gymnastics Classes
Excite! offers gymnastics classes for preschool ages 2 years old and up, all levels, from beginner through advanced. You can join the gymnastics classes anytime! We are always enrolling and always advancing our participants. There are no semesters and NO Yearly Contracts! ONLY 30 Day Written Notice Required. Pricing is per month unless noted. $38 registration fee per student. Families with more than 2 students pay $10 for each additional child. Students who withdrawal from their monthly tuition based class lose their registration benefits and must pay their registration fee again when enrolling. Excite! has gym closing times throughout the year, the tuition is based on an average and is figured in on these needed breaks.

HOT SHOTS

Ages: 5-7 yrs
Time: 55 minutes

This is a class for athletes selected from our Shooting Stars class. We introduce gymnasts to some competition equipment for the first time. Hot Shots serves as a stepping stone for those with the potential to progress toward our competitive team.

Hot Shots 2

Ages: 5-7
Time: 55 minutes
Hot Shots 2 is the next step for young gymnasts who are excelling in our Hot Shots class and are on track to join the competitive team through our Pre-Team program. Gymnasts in Hot Shots 2 are preparing for the next level of commitment and challenge in their gymnastics journey.

BEGINNER GYMNASTICS

Ages: 5 1/2-7 1/2 yrs

Time: 45 mins

A perfect class for kids promoting from preschool classes/Hot Shots to tumbling. Also for all new students to Excite! Learn the basics. We’ll start out by teaching them basic gymnastics safety rules and provide an evaluation for further placement.

GYMNASTICS A

Ages: 7 & Up
Time: 55 minutes
Introduction to basic skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor such as handstands, cartwheels, bridges, and more.

GYMNASTICS B

Ages: 7 & Up
Time: 55 minutes
Gym B will train recreational athletes, and those interested in gym team on all apparatus skills.

GYMNASTICS C

Ages: 7 & Up
Time: 55 minutes
Gym C is out most advanced level class before competitive team. Must be promoted from Gym B or evaluated by a gymnastics team coach.

What to Wear

Girls: Please wear any color leotard and be barefoot. Hair pulled back, no jewelry.
Boys: T-shirt, shorts (no loose or baggy clothing), no jewelry.

Competition Teams Available

Excite! gymnasts have the option of competing under two organizations; USA Gymnastics (USAG) or Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF). They are offered to gymnasts (ages 4 and up) who show excellent work ethic, a passion for gymnastics, and the ability to be a good team member. The TAAF competitive team is where most gymnasts will get their initial competition experience. Excite! is now offering the USAG program, Excel, for gymnasts ages 9 and up.
