Gymnastics Classes

From first cartwheels to advanced skills, Excite! offers year-round recreational gymnastics classes for children ages 2 and up. Our open-enrollment programs welcome all skill levels—from beginners just getting started to more advanced gymnasts—while building strength, confidence, and a love for the sport of gymnastics.

Classes run continuously, allowing athletes to join at any time and progress at their own pace in a flexible, supportive environment—without the pressure of semesters or long-term commitments.

HOT SHOTS

Ages: 5-7 yrs
Time: 55 minutes

This is a class for athletes selected from our Shooting Stars class. We introduce gymnasts to some competition equipment for the first time. Hot Shots serves as a stepping stone for those with the potential to progress toward our competitive team.

Hot Shots 2

Ages: 5-7
Time: 55 minutes
Hot Shots 2 is the next step for young gymnasts who are excelling in our Hot Shots class and are on track to join the competitive team through our Pre-Team program. Gymnasts in Hot Shots 2 are preparing for the next level of commitment and challenge in their gymnastics journey.

BEGINNER GYMNASTICS

Ages: 5 1/2-7 1/2 yrs

Time: 45 mins

A perfect class for kids promoting from preschool classes/Hot Shots to tumbling. Also for all new students to Excite! Learn the basics. We’ll start out by teaching them basic gymnastics safety rules and provide an evaluation for further placement.

GYMNASTICS A

Ages: 7 & Up
Time: 55 minutes
Introduction to basic skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor such as handstands, cartwheels, bridges, and more.

GYMNASTICS B

Ages: 7 & Up
Time: 55 minutes
Gym B will train recreational athletes, and those interested in gym team on all apparatus skills.

GYMNASTICS C

Ages: 7 & Up
Time: 55 minutes
Gym C is out most advanced level class before competitive team. Must be promoted from Gym B or evaluated by a gymnastics team coach.

What to Wear

Girls: Please wear any color leotard and be barefoot. Hair pulled back, no jewelry.
Boys: T-shirt, shorts (no loose or baggy clothing), no jewelry.

Billing

Gymnastics tuition is billed monthly, with a one-time $38 registration fee per student. Families enrolling more than two children receive a discounted registration fee for each additional child. Tuition is based on an annual average and accounts for scheduled gym closures throughout the year.
