1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

PRACTICE UPDATES

*May 2^nd:

-Level 3 will not have practice – good luck at State!

-Silver athletes who compete on Saturday will not have practice - Good luck at State! (Athletes competing on Sunday will still practice – time change: 9:00-12:00).

*Excite! Will be CLOSED May 23-29 for Summer Break. No classes or teams running during this time.

TRYOUT INFORMATION

*The May 16^th tryout is for new athletes only – athletes who competed last year do not need to enroll in these tryouts. Level placement tryouts will be on July 18^th (times TBA).

*Click here to fill out your tryout form for the 2026-27 season! Turning in this form will let us know to re-enroll you for summer groups – no further action needed on your part

CAMP FORMS DUE!!!

Who: Any athlete who is 8 or older who is currently in Bronze, Level 2, or higher

The forms below are the waivers required to attend travel camp. Camp is required for all athletes in Blue, Red, or Black summer groups who are 8 or older. (See handbook pg. 11 for more information)

UNLIMITED PRIVATES

Email office@excitegym.com by May 15th if you’d like to enroll in unlimited privates for the 2026-27 season! A full year commitment is required for the special rate.

Unlimited private lessons are $40/month – this covers your gym fee only. Gym fee is typically $10/ ½ hour, so if you do an hour lesson 1/week, you save $40/month by enrolling in this offer!

Brenham hotels are currently sold out or high cost for this weekend. College Station is about a 45-minute drive from Brenham and has much cheaper hotel options!

3. DRESS CODE

*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.

*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed. Baggy pants and sweatshirts are not permitted.
