Lots of new information this week! Please read this hotline thoroughly!

*Read the hotline in its entirety! Information is subject to change weekly without further notice.

1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

EXPO TICKETS

*The deadline to pre-order Expo tickets was October 12th. Tickets will be available at the door for those who did not pre-order them!

EXPO & MEET DAY ETIQUETTE/INSTRUCTIONS

Click here to view Meet Day Etiquette! – Required for all parents and gymnasts to read!

*We know it seems like a lot—We have tried to list out everything you will need to know about our expectations for meet day. These protocols are set in place to ensure that the girls have a fun, successful, and safe experience when performing.

MEET LEO INSTRUCTIONS

Washing instructions: Important* Follow these instructions to avoid ripping the mesh of the leotard, damaging the rhinestones, or causing discoloration of the fabric. Meet leos must stay in like-new condition!

  • All garment(s) must be washed separately.

  • Turn garment(s) inside out.

  • Use a mild liquid detergent and gently hand wash in cold water. Rinse immediately.

  • DO NOT allow garment to soak.

  • Hang to dry.

  • DO NOT use fabric softeners.

  • DO NOT dry clean.

  • DO NOT iron.

*We suggest keeping your meet leo hung up with your meet scrunchie over the hook of the hanger, meet capris folded on the bottom of the hanger, with your Excite! jacket on top and zipped. This will keep everything you need for meet day in one place and easy to find!

*Meet leos and the red scrunchie that came with the leo are not to be worn to practices or to any other events unless specifically noted otherwise by Excite! coaching staff.

MEET DAY HAIR

*Hair at meets should be neatly pulled back out of the girls’ faces, secured with hair spray/gel and bobby pins.

*The red scrunchie that came with your meet leotard is a part of your meet day attire! Please do not wear this scrunchie to practices or at any other events.

*”Spider web” designs or braids into the pony tail or bun are allowed! We just ask that the rubber bands that you use are red, black, white, or clear if choosing this hair style.

*Double French braids or bubble braids are not allowed as we do not want the hair getting in front of the girls’ shoulders. All hairstyles need to finish in a singular ponytail or bun. (Exception: Space buns are allowed, but must be tight and secured to head)

*Remember! Most of our girls have some sort of roll in their routine. Hair needs to be pulled back tight and secured to ensure that their hair stays up throughout the meet.

*Photo examples are included in the Meet Day Etiquette attachment below above!

LOST AND FOUND

*Lost and Found will be donated 11/4/2024. Please check for any lost or missing items before this date!

WE NEED PICTURES!

Photos needed! The Marketing department is requesting your Expo photos! Please add your expo photos and videos (under 10 seconds) to the Dropbox.

*Upload your photos throughout the season to allow your pictures to be included in social media posts and our end of year banquet video!

Thank you in advance!
