1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
ATTENDANCE STANDARDS
*As we are now into the part of the season where we are preparing for meets and polishing routines, it is extremely important that your athlete is at practices on time and for the entirety of the practice. Coaches build practice schedules with drills that build on each other, so missing practice can make athletes feel behind when they return. Please communicate any absences in advance with coaches by emailing gymnastics@excitegym.com, and if it a day-of absence due to an emergency or being sick, please text with Coach Caitlin and your team’s coaches all included in the text. If your child is sick and it’s within 2 weeks of a meet, it might be requested that they make up the time missed to prepare for the meet.
HOLIDAY PARTY
*Our Holiday party will be on December 13th during regular practice times. Athletes can wear holiday attire – no leo required.
*Gift exchange: we are doing a Holiday gift exchange for our teams. Participation is optional – anyone who brings gifts for their teams will be a part of the exchange!
*In lieu of our typical gift exchange, we are doing smaller team gifts this year – bring a small gift for each person on your team ($2-3/person).

NASHVEGAS EXTRAVAGANZA – UPDATE
pre-team, level 1, level 2, and bronze can skip this section!
We are keeping a close eye on the website for the schedule to be posted! We will post it as soon we receive it.
Once we receive the schedule, we will do our best to plan a full team get together (schedule permitting). Information for the get together will be posted on the hotline. Once the schedule is posted, you are welcome to adjust your stay around your level’s meet times. We do require you to arrive in Franklin/Nashville the day before your athlete competes to plan around flight delays and make sure the girls are well rested for their meet!
Hotel information: Here are a couple of hotels that are close to the venue. It’s not required that you stay in one of these, however we do suggest talking with your teammates and trying to stay close by each other!
Residence Inn by Mariott Franklin Berry Farms: (6-minute drive)
Hampton Inn & Suites Franklin Berry Farm: (6-minute drive)
Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville Franklin Cool Springs: (10-minute drive)
Tru by Hilton Franklin Cool Springs Nashville: (10-minute drive)
MEET DAY UNIFORM
All meet leotards, backpacks and jackets have been distributed.
Do not wear your meet leo or scrunchie to regular practices, school, as a “dress up” costume – or any other time other than when competing! These leotards are expected to be kept in like-new condition, and if they get damaged, you will be required to purchase a new one.
We suggest keeping your meet capris folded on a hanger, with your meet leo, meet jacket, and meet scrunchie all on the same hanger for an easy meet-day grab!

• Use a mild liquid detergent and gently hand wash in cold water. Rinse immediately.
• DO NOT allow garment to soak.
