IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
PRACTICE UPDATES
Level 1, 2, 3, and 4 will only have choreography this weekend – no regular Saturday practice for these levels. All other levels will have regular practice.
November 21st – practice will be moved to Friday, November 20th to allow families and staff to get out early for Thanksgiving break.

LEVELS 5, 6, 7, 8, & PLATINUM - MONDAY 9/21 PRACTICE INFO
We have a professional photographer/videographer coming in on Monday 9/21 to gather some marketing material. We would like all athletes that practice on Monday to come with neat hair (doesn’t have to be fancy, just secure and presentable), their new practice leo, BLACK OR RED bar shorts if they want to wear bar shorts, with light makeup if they want! Come to practice ready to show off your skills!!
UNIFORM UPDATE
Practice leos were distributed this week. Please try them on with undergarments on to make sure your leo fits correctly. Email gymnastics@excitegym.com with any sizing issues.
Backpacks, meet leos, warmup jackets and pants have been ordered and are currently being manufactured. We will distribute these at practice as soon as we receive them!
TRUNK OR TREAT
We will have our annual gym team Halloween party & trunk or treat on October 31st. The party will be from 10:00-12:00 and trunk or treat will take place from 11:30-12:00.
If you are able to help out with a trunk, please email gymnastics@excitegym.com. Let’s fill the parking lot!!
We will not have regular practice this day.
BILLING INFO
Meet fees will be billed on September 30th.
Level 1, 2, Bronze: $300-350
Level 3, 4, Silver, Gold: $325-375
Level 5, Platinum: $400-450
Level 6, 7, 8: $375-425
This is for qualifying meets only. Travel meet and state meet fees will be billed at a later date.
If you would like to set up a payment plan or split your meet fees into two separate payments, please email office@excitegym.com by Friday, September 25th.
LEVELS 1, 2 & BRONZE - STATE MEET INFO
Brenham only has a couple of hotels and they fill up fast for this meet! We recommend looking for hotels now. If Brenham hotels are booked or priced too high, College Station is about 45 minutes away and has lots of hotel options!
TEAM PARENTS & GIFTS
-Team Parents: We have decided to not have team parents this season and will instead ask for volunteers throughout the season as needed. We will post these requests either on the hotline or in the band, so keep your eyes out if you’d like to step in and help!
-Team Gifts: The gym will be taking care of all athlete gifts during the season. If you have any ideas or items you think your team would enjoy, feel free to email those in!
EXPO
Make sure you have October 24th saved on your calendar for Expo! We will have the schedule posted within the next couple of weeks, along with drop off info, what to wear, and more! We are so excited to see your kiddos showcase their skills for the first time this season!
MONDAY USAG PRACTICE – (Will need at least 3 enrolled to open)
Who: Level 4 & Gold / Level 3 & Silver (requires approval)
When: Mondays 5:00-8:30
Cost: $80/month
This is an optional class addition – not required!

3. DRESS CODE
*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.
*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed. Baggy pants and sweatshirts are not permitted.
