*Reminder that the Gym is closed 9/4-9/7. Classes and teams will resume on Tuesday 9/8.
CONGRATS TO BELIEVE AND CRUSH FOR WINNING OUR SUMMER BEAD CHALLENGE!
You guys will be getting a Pizza Party at the end of practice next week!
For those not aware; over summer we let athletes put a bead into their team jar for any extras they did. This could be from a clinic, tumble class, private, or gaining new skills. We also gave parents ways to help get beads added as well! We will continue the bead challenge with some new fun ways to get more beads!
WE WON ALL THREE CATEGORIES FOR BEST OF DENTON COUNTY!!!!

ALL PARENTS: PARENT ROUTINE
We would LOVE to have our parents do another parent routine this season for our Excite! Expo! Below is a link to enroll so we can see interest and make a final decision. This is no cost, just enroll if you are interested in participating! We will likely have 2-3 practices and then perform at our Excite Expo!

ALL TEAMS: COMPETITION WAIVERS
Starting Monday next week, you will start to receive emails from Bravo Spirit Events AND Redline to fill out their waivers for competitions this season. One additional waiver will be sent later.
If you have not received any emails by Tuesday, please email cheer@excitegym.com with athlete name and email you’d like the waiver sent to. Keep in mind that you may need to check your spam!
Have BOTH completed by September 14th!

*Each week coaches will hand out their team item to a member of the team that stood out in a positive way that week. You get to bring the item home- add your own flare or decoration to it and then bring it back to following week. We try to get this out to as many people as possible but is not guaranteed. Please bring items back to your final practice of the week.*

2. WHAT TO WEAR 8.31-9.3
*Last week’s assignments can be found on the previous hotline.
*Reminder that all athletes, regardless of age, must wear sports bras underneath clothing.*
*Bows and cheer shoes must be worn to all practices!* If you are new and do not have cheer shoes yet, you may wear athletic shoes until yours come in.
Now that athletes have received their practice wear, they need to wear THIS SEASON’S shirts using the assignments below. Black= Black shirt with red and black logo/ Red= Excite! Express shirt
NOVICE: Black shirt and any shorts.
PREP: 1st practice (Mon or Tue depending on team) Black shirt and any shorts/ 2nd practice (Th) Red shirt with any shorts
PREMIER PREP: Tuesday practice Black tank and any shorts/ Thursday practice Red tank with any shorts
ELITE: Monday Black tank with any shorts/ Wednesday Red tank with program sports bra and program shorts (given Wed 8/26)

Program sports bras, shorts and uniforms were passed out on 8/26. If you were absent, coaches will give them to your athlete at the next practice. Any sizing concerns, please email proshop@excitegym.com
