ALL TEAMS: ATHLETE/ PARENT CONFERENCES UPDATED 7.16!
-Dates: 8/10-8/13 *no practices will happen this week! Only conferences
-Where: Excite Event Center- 2300 Highland Village Road Building 9 – across the main gym parking lot behind Liquor King.
-Who: Athlete and at least one parent/guardian
-Process: Arrive a couple of minutes before your assigned time. A coach will direct you on where to go once you enter. Please remember that times are all back to back and only 15 minutes. Coaches will quickly go over their items and leave some time for quick discussion. If something needs to be discussed beyond that time limit, we will need to arrange a separate time. If you were unable to find a time and would like some coaches feedback, please email into cheer@excitegym.com. At this point, coaches will only be able to update you via email as our time is limited.

DAZZLE: COMPETITION UPDATE
Due to a prior conflict we had to adjust a competition date. The conflict was shared with us back during tryouts and we missed to dodge the weekend- we are so sorry about this! This is reflected in the competition schedule links in the attachments section.
11/15: We will NOT be competing.
12/12: We will be competing at Bravo Christmas Classic in Garland.
ALL TEAMS: OBSERVATION VIEWING
As we get back to starting school and getting busier in the gym, we are kindly asking that team parents keep observation room viewing to a minimal to make space for our recreational athletes. Feel free to come in the next couple of weeks, but starting August 1st, we will need to keep that as clear as possible from team members.
We will be adding more classes with younger students that require parents to stay, so we will need all the space we can get.
This will also keep it fun for you to truly be surprised when checkpoints arrive! This makes those moments more special for your athletes and for you!
As we see when there is more space, we will do our best to assign times and days for you to come in.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
1. WHAT TO WEAR 8.10-8.13
*Last week’s assignments (including Thursday 8.6) can be found on the previous hotline.
*Reminder that all athletes, regardless of age, must wear sports bras underneath clothing.*
*Bows and cheer shoes must be worn to all practices!* If you are new and do not have cheer shoes yet, you may wear athletic shoes until yours come in.
Now that athletes have received their practice wear, they need to wear THIS SEASON’S shirts using the assignments below.
NOVICE: Black shirt and any shorts
PREP: 1st practice (Mon or Tue depending on team) Black shirt and any shorts/ 2nd practice (Th) Red shirt and any shorts
PREMIER PREP: Tuesday practice Black tank and any shorts/ Thursday Red tank and any shorts
ELITE: Monday White tank and any shorts/ Wednesday Red tank and black shorts
