NOVICE/ PREMIER PREP AND ALL STAR: COMPETITION THIS WEEKEND!

Please be sure you read ALL the information below and in the attachment.

Reminders:

-At least one guardian is REQUIRED to be in the Team Band. This is where all day of competition information will be. Make sure your notifications are turned on and that you are able to access it.

-Awards are mandatory to attend. Full uniform, make up and hair required. Premier Prep and All Star- Excite! Warm up jacket required.

-Be LOUD and PROUD in the stands! A great crowd helps the athletes and therefore helps our scores! Yell for ALL Excite teams and bring the energy!

*Athletes will still be practicing this day! Be sure to bring clothes to change into for practice after their photo is done.*

-BELIEVE, DYNAMITE and GOSSIP- We are aware that your photo time starts after your typical practice time. You will arrive to practice when your photo time begins and stay through your typical ending time that day.

WHAT TO WEAR FOR PICTURES:

Athletes will need to wear their full competition uniform with white socks and cheer shoes. Be sure that athletes are wearing a bra that cannot be seen with the uniform. We would like their hair to be down (you can style however you like) and some make up on (not competition make up). Athletes can wear whatever they would like for the practice portion after their photos.

HOW TO ORDER:

Parents will be able to preorder/pay before the day of photos, so no messy paperwork or waiting in line to order. If you do not order before your Photo Day, our table attendant will guide you to a QR Code to fill out their order form. Orders will close the day photos are taken!!! All photos you purchase will be sent directly to your email address and there are plenty of fun extras you can add on!!

PREMIER PREP AND ALL STAR: THANKSGIVING WORK OUT SHEET

We will be posting our mandatory work out sheet next week Thursday which has to be completed by all athletes! Plan ahead that the work out sheet may require videos with a stunt group and/or tumbling. We will have open gym times available to get this done at the gym. Times will be announced next week but we know they will be on Monday 11/25, Tuesday 11/26 and Sunday 12/1.

ALL TEAMS: 2026 NCA NATIONALS CHANGES

We previously posted about the big change for NCA to be moving up to January for 2026 to remain in Dallas. On November 8th, they decided to make a big adjustment. They will be moving NCA Nationals to Houston, TX for 2026, 2027 and 2028 (as of now) and bumping it back to be end of February or beginning of March. This change means, we can remove the mandatory practices previously set for over Winter Break of 2025-2026! YAY!

NCA Nationals 2025 will remain in Dallas with no changes.

ALL TEAMS: BANQUET DIATARY RESTRICTIONS

Please email tammyh@excitegym.com with any dietary restrictions that you may need for your end of season banquet. Please email by January 9th!

ALL TEAMS: BANQUET BILLING

Per the handbook we will be billing all families for their athlete ticket and a parent ticket on November 29th. If you want additional tickets, we will give an option to do so at a later date. Reminder that this event is for parents and athletes only due to space (no grandparents or siblings).

Novice= $60 per ticket

Reminders/ Updates: -None for this week.

Competition 11/16: NTGU in Irving -Please be sure that you are in the Team or Assistant Coach BAND. This will be used on competition day for meet locations and updates. Please let Alison know ASAP if you are not included. -Athletes: Be sure to be in full uniform and white shoes when you arrive. We will be handing out your official competition bow at the event. We will have items to help do athlete's hair and make up, but you are welcome to do these at home as well. Don't forget that our new uniform is one piece! -Assistant Coaches: You will have to pick up a wrist band to be allowed in the warm up room. Alison will send in the BAND where to pick that up from. Reminder to be 15 minutes early to meet time to greet your athlete. No phones or bags will be allowed to come with you once we head to warm ups so be ready to hand these off. Wear white practice tank, black leggings and athletic or cheer shoes. Hair Half up half down and some make up on (not competition makeup).

5. HALF SEASON: SPARKLERS AND THRILL

Announcements/ Reminders:

-Team BANDs have been made and invitations have been sent out. If you did not receive one, please email into cheer@excitegym.com as soon as possible. It is a team requirement for one parent or guardian to be in.

-We will be reaching out to those who have not yet filled out their competition waiver. Please be sure to stop by the front office to get this signed (if you haven’t already).

-Until your practice shirt comes in, athletes can wear any red/black or white based t shirt to practices. We ask that they wear athletic shorts, a sports bra underneath their shirt, cheer or athletic shoes, hair in a high pony tail with bow or ribbon in.

Important Dates: -Gym Closings: November 24th-30th, December 22nd-January 5th

-January 24th – Show of at Excite! Kids arrive 5:00pm – Show-off 6:00pm

-January 25th or 26th – United Cheer NTX Championship at Curtis Culwell Center **EDITED SINCE INFORMATION RELEASE** The event is having to use 2 days to fit all registered teams. Once we know which day we are going, we will alert you here. For now, keep both days open.

BILLING DATES:

*Reminder that if you need to set up a payment plan you need to contact the front office at office@excitegym.com* Monthly tuition will always be billed on the last business day of the month, below are the special billing dates only.

-November 29th: December Tuition and Banquet Tickets for one athlete and one adult. The athlete ticket is required whether they are attending or not. If you do not want to be billed for the adult ticket, you will need to email office@excitegym.com by November 1st. Additional parent tickets will be available for purchase at a later date. Cost= $60 per ticket

-December 30th: January Tuition and National Event Billing for Premier Prep and All Star. Tremor and Electric= $118/ Shock, Dynamite, Intense, Gossip and Fever= $222
