NOVICE/ PREP/ PREMIER PREP AND ALL STAR: BANQUET TICKETS

-Information: You have been billed for one athlete ticket and one parent ticket, this link is for any additional tickets you’d like to purchase. You can only purchase for another parent/guardian; no siblings or grandparents allowed due to limited space.

-Deadline to order: Novice- March 3rd, Prep/Premier Prep/ All Star- March 17th

ALL TEAMS: SMARTY PANTS BANQUET AWARD

If your athlete has all As and Bs, they qualify to receive the Smarty Pants award at their banquet! Please email a copy of your athlete’s report card to alisonh@excitegym.com by March 1st! You may also drop off a hard copy to the front office to be placed in Alison’s box.

If your athlete is not in school and/or doesn’t receive grades yet, they will not be eligible for this award this year.

ALL TEAMS: NOVICE/ PREP/ PREMIER PREP IN HOUSE CAMP DATES SET!

In house camp dates are set for the 25-26 season! This will only be for athletes on Novice, Prep or Premier Prep next season. Dates: July 30th-August 1st and is mandatory for any athlete in those classifications for the 25-26 season. This is in the important dates section now too.

GOSSIP AND FEVER: PRACTICE CHANGE

We will be cancelling practice on Sunday 1/26 due to the high number of athletes competing with their high school teams this day. Coaches may assign videos to be done in replacement of this practice. They will send that into team band if anything is needed.

ALL STAR: TRAVEL COMP

Our travel comp is almost here!! Thank you for getting all of your travel information to our team parents!

Schedule: The event company has shared a block schedule with us. All teams will be competing between 9am-1pm on both days. Awards times are not yet posted. Final schedule will still be posted the Thursday before the event on the hotline.

Almost all of our buddies will be competing with their High School teams this day so we will have to cancel practice.

5. HALF SEASON: SPARKLERS AND THRILL

Announcements/ Reminders:

-SHOW OFF INFORMATION: Athletes will be dropped off at the gym at 5pm. We ask that parents wait in their vehicles or return back at 5:55pm to be let inside. Parents/Families will be allowed in from the side double glass doors that face FlipDog at 5:55pm. Teams will start performing at 6pm sharp! Athletes need to be in full uniform (top, skirt, hair bow and cheer shoes), hair and makeup (see instructions below) when they arrive at 5pm. Once teams are done, coaches will release athletes to you. We do have other practices and classes running in the gym so we ask that you head outside quickly.

-Competition bows will be handed out at practice on 1/23. Please be sure that all athletes have both their uniform top and skirt. If you are missing one of these items, please email proshop@excitegym.com ASAP!

-Competition Hair and Makeup: Hair will need to be in a high pony tail for performances. We suggest putting it up slightly wet and using hair spray to hold whispies and hair in place. Use a regular hair tie for the pony tail, and then put the competition bow on. The hair band on the competition bows are not great for holding hair up- they are there just to hold the bow. For make up, athletes will do a light smokey eye (tutorial at bottom of the hotline), with mascara, blush and red lipstick.

What to wear: Please wear the practice shirt, athletic shorts, cheer shoes and hair in a pony tail with a bow to all practices.
