EXPO
We are so excited to see your kiddos showcase their skills for the first time this season!
Saturday, October 24th @ Excite!
What to wear:
-We will wear our practice leos for Expo! For performances the girls will just wear their leo – no bar shorts. Please make sure that all sports bras and undergarments are completely covered by the leotard or have clear stripes.
Hair:
Wear your meet-day hair. See instructions & options in the “Meet Day Ettiquite” instructions attached below.
Drop off & Spectator entry:
Feel free to park with your kiddos and walk in with them. If you are running behind, the double doors will be open so you can quickly drop them off before you go to park. All spectators will need to enter through the front doors.
The neighboring parking lot (towards Excite! Event Center & the carwash) is available for overflow parking.
Pre-purchased wristbands will be passed out during practices next week. FRIDAY
OCTOBER 16th is the LAST DAY to pre-order tickets!
Schedule:
Doors will open 15 minutes prior to each session. Please make every effort to be on time to help us stay on schedule!
Session 1: 12:30-3 – Silver, Level 1, 3, 5, Optionals
Session 2: 3:30-6:00 – Bronze, Gold, Platinum, Level 2 & Level 4
Pre-orders available through October 16th!
Children 5 and younger are free!
PRACTICE UPDATES
October 17th – No extended practice for levels 7, 8 and external PE. Practice will end at 2:00 for these athletes.
October 31st – no regular practice. We will have our annual gym team Halloween party & trunk or treat on October 31st. The party will be from 10:00-12:00 and trunk or treat will take place from 11:30-12:00.
If you are able to help out with a trunk, please email gymnastics@excitegym.com. Let’s fill the parking lot!!
November 21st – practice will be moved to Friday, November 20th to allow families and staff to get out early for Thanksgiving break.

SAVE THE DATE - IN HOUSE MEET – MANDATORY FOR ONE PARENT/FAMILY!
Our annual In House Meet will be on January 16, 2027! This is an event that we host for our rec kiddos to show off their skills for their family and friends – they get medals and ribbons, and can order shoutouts and other fun athlete gifts! We run it just like a real meet and it is so fun for the kiddos!
It is mandatory for one parent per family to help with this event. Each time slot will be 2-3 hours long – we will have a sign-up genius posted on 10/15 for you to sign up for your time slot. If you have a pre-planned conflict, please email that in by Monday, November 3rd.
Gym team athletes will not attend this event!
UNIFORM UPDATE
Backpacks, meet leos, warmup jackets and pants have been ordered and are currently in production. We will distribute these at practice as soon as we receive them!

Brenham only has a couple of hotels and they fill up fast for this meet weekend! We recommend looking for hotels now. If Brenham hotels are booked or priced too high, College Station is about 45 minutes away and has lots of hotel options!

3. DRESS CODE
*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.
*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed. Baggy pants and sweatshirts are not permitted.
