NEW CLASS OFFERS!
Back Handspring and Conditioning!
This class is designed to help those get extra focus on their back handsprings to achieve this monumental skill. Conditioning is a major part of development. Students must be able to execute Round off with a rebound and a Back Walkover, have the knowledge and physical ability to hold themselves in a back bend or strong bridge. Conditioning elements and drills will be incorporated for strength training. Ages 7 & up. 45-Minute class.
Small Group!
This class is going to be put together in part by custom design! You will pick your own group of 4 with a similar skill set and a time offering that best fits your schedule. If you have had issues getting multiple kiddos to the gym at once or want to have a few friends tumble together, this is a great option. The 4 to 1 ratio is unbeatable for skills training and overall fun. Ages can vary, but students should be within 3 to 4 years of one another. This will be a 45-minute class set for the attendees to achieve similar goals.
EXCITING CHIROPRACTIC OFFER
Coach Johnathen Baggett that works here during late evenings is also a licensed Chiropractor! We are excited to announce that he will be offering services within our building to our customers! As someone who cheered through college, he understands the physical demands of athletes and tailors his care to meet those needs. See information below to learn more about Johnathen and how to book!
2. IMPORTANT REMINDERS
DRESS CODE
Monday – Wear white Excite! Row the boat shirt with spanks and acro shoes
Wednesday – Wear any Excite! Shirt or a primarily red, black, or white shirt with spanks and acro shoes
It is required for all athletes to wear a sports bra under their shirt, regardless of age. It is required for all athletes to wear athletic shoes to each practice. Please purchase your acro shoes if you haven’t already so your athlete can start getting used to tumbling and stunting with shoes on! If they don’t have acro shoes yet, they can wear other tennis shoes until their acro shoes come in.
-Purchase through links at the bottom of the hotline!
ATTENDANCE EXPECTATIONS
*As we are now into the part of the season where we have a routine and are preparing for meets, it is extremely important that your athlete is at practices on time and for the entirety of the practice. Missing one athlete can make an entire stunt group unable to perform that section of their routine, or an entire pyramid not being able to build. Please communicate any absences in advance with coaches by emailing acro@excitegym.com, and if it a day-of absence due to an emergency or being sick, please text with Coach Caitlin, Coach Mo, and Coach Dane all included in the text. If your child is sick and it’s within 2 weeks of a meet, it might be requested that they attend practice with a mask to watch or partially participate if possible.
