Holiday Practice Times: Holiday practices are not mandatory and do not affect Gold Star if you’re not able to make it. We offer practice times over holiday closings for those who are in town and do encourage those who are in town to attend as we are nearing our meet season.
*November 25 & 26:
-Pre-team, Levels 1, 2, Bronze: 9:30-11:30
-Levels 3, 4, 5, Silver, Gold, Platinum & Optionals: 11:00-2:00

Expo Pre-orders:
We will be having a patch hat vendor at our Expo this year! These hats are for pre order only—the preorder will include 1 hat, and 1 excite logo patch, then you can purchase extra patches at Expo to make your hat unique to your athlete—You will be able to decorate and make your own custom hat at Expo. -Expo will now be on Saturday, October 19th. This change is only for the gymnastics program! With all of our programs performing on the same weekend, we want to ensure an amazing showoff experience for all!
PIKES PEAK CUP (Travel Meet)
-Levels: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Silver, Gold, Platinum
-Flights and hotels: With the possibility of competing on Friday morning or Sunday evening, we ask that you book your hotel and flight to arrive no later than Thursday evening (1/23) and to depart no earlier than Monday morning (1/27). Once we receive the final meet schedule from the meet host, you are more than welcome to adjust your stay!

*The Broadmoor hotel is completely booked, however there are several hotels in the surrounding area. See the link below with a couple of options!
GOLD, PLATINUM, AND OPTIONAL LEVELS:
*MUSIC: Athletes have been told which music to purchase. Please purchase your music through the website and send it to gymnastics@ when you receive your music via email – coaches need your music at least one week prior to your scheduled choreography time.
-Music length: (Your music cannot exceed the times listed below!)
-Gold: 1:00
-Platinum & Level 6: 1:15
-Level 7: 1:30
-CHOREOGRAPHY: Each coach will have a set number of spots and times to get everyone’s choreography done. Choreography time slots will be set up for three hours and cost $200 paid directly to your choreographer the day that your choreography is done.

*Everything you will need to know about meets—dates, arrival times, location, meet day etiquette, what to wear/bring, etc. will be in section 2 of the hotline moving forward.
*Important! We generally do not get the specific day/time that each level will compete until about 2 weeks before each event. Until we post specific times, it's important that you keep the whole weekend available. However, each level will only compete in one session on one day, which generally lasts 3-4 hours. Specific times for each level/meet will be posted on the hotline as soon as we receive the information.
3. BILLING
*Meet fees will be billed on September 30th. If you would like to split your fees, please email office@excitegym.com before September 25th!
Level 1, 2, Bronze: $340
Level 3, 4, 5, Silver, Gold: $672
-Includes 4 TAAF meets + Pikes Peak registration, team fees, & travel fees)
-For those who were unable to attend Pikes Peak, meet fees will be reduced to $487)
-GOLD athletes who have added USAG to their meet schedule: Additional USAG meet fee will be $180 (Texas Tough)
Platinum, Level 6 & Level 7: $672
-Platinum & Level 6: Includes 2 TAAF meets, Pikes Peak registration, team fees & travel fees, and Texas Tough
-Level 7: Includes Pikes Peak registration, team fees & travel fees, Texas Tough & Rose City Classic
-Platinum & Level 6 athletes who have added a full TAAF season to their meet schedule: Additional TAAF meet fee will be $90 (Richardson)
4. DRESS CODE
*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.
*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed. Baggy pants and sweatshirts are not permitted.
