PRACTICE UPDATES
*July 31: No gym team practice in the morning due to Green & Yellow group In House Camp. (Green & Yellow groups see information below!)
BILLING
Reminder – The annual Excite! Registration fee of $40 will be billed on July 31st.
PARTNERING FOR SUCCES- A PARENT WORKSHOP
-When: August 4th 6-7pm for all gymnastics parents.
-Where: Excite Event Center- 2300 Highland Village Rd Building 9. Located across our parking lot behind Liquor King.
As mentioned in our handbook meetings at the beginning of the season, we will be having and mental health/life coach to be available to parents and athletes. We are excited to bring her in for a Parent Workshop! In this session, she will talk about how to help support your athlete in this unique sport, what you can do to help, and answer any questions or concerns you have. No sign-ups, no cost- just show up! She is VERY excited to meet you and to be a resource for you!
-Additional Notes: We kindly ask that athletes are not present for this meeting. Cheer parents will be entering for their meetings at 7:00 we ask that you exit at the end of the meeting.

OBSERVATION VIEWING
As we get back to starting school and getting busier in the gym, we are kindly asking that team parents keep observation room viewing to a minimum to make space for our recreational athletes. Starting August 1st, we will need to keep that as clear as possible from team members.
We will be adding more classes with younger students that require parents to stay, so we will need all the space we can get.
This will also keep it fun for you to truly be surprised when showoffs arrive! This makes those moments more special for your athletes and for you!
As we see when there is more space, we will do our best to assign times and days for you to come in.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

We're Looking for Someone Who Is:
-Warm, caring, and nurturing with a genuine love for young children.
-Energetic, enthusiastic, and love being active.
-Passionate about teaching children, not just supervising play.
-Patient and encouraging while helping preschoolers develop gymnastics skills, coordination, confidence, and a love for movement.
-Reliable, professional, and enjoy being part of a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
-An active lifestyle and the ability to demonstrate and coach physical activities.
-Gymnastics, cheer, dance, or other sports coaching experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
-Availability for at least one afternoon each week 3:30-6:30 and morning opportunities available.
-Part-time position with opportunities for additional hours and career advancement.

IN HOUSE CAMP INFO – GREEN & YELLOW GROUPS ONLY!
Dates: July 28-31, 2026 @ Excite!
July 31st: FUN DAY! 12:00-2:15
-For the fun day, you do not need to wear a leo. Wear a swimsuit with clothes that you wouldn’t mind throwing away.
-Bring a water bottle, towel, and a change of clothes for the car ride home. We will have messy games and their clothes will get dirty!

COMPETITION SCHEDULE
During meet season, you will find all of the information you need to know about your meets in this section – including ticket information, schedules, addresses, and more!
We typically receive the meet schedule from the organizations between August-September. We will post the meets we plan on attending in this section as soon as we receive it!
3. DRESS CODE
*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.
*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed. Baggy pants and sweatshirts are not permitted.
