1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

PRACTICE UPDATES

*Saturday, February 28^th:

-Level 1, 2, and Bronze will have regular practice

-Level 8 & Silver will have practice from 9:00-12:00

-Level 3, 4, 6, and Gold will not have practice – Good luck at Richardson!

*Spring Break Practices:

-Excite! Will be closed for regular practice and classes from March 16-22^nd.

-Spring Break Practice Times: (Highly encouraged for those who are in town)

March 17-19:

Level 1, 2, 3, Bronze: 9:00-11:00

Level 4, Silver, Gold, Optionals: 10:00-1:00

-For athletes in Argyle and Denton ISD ONLY – we will have practices on March 17^th & 19^th from 5:00-8:00. Please email gymnastics@excitegym.com by March 5th to let us know if you will be there so we can plan staffing.

BANQUET AWARDS

Smarty Pants: If your athlete has received As and Bs this year, they are eligible to receive the Smarty Pants award at banquet! Please submit a copy of their report card to caitlinc@excitegym.com or turn in a copy to the front desk to be placed in Caitlin’s box. If your athlete does not receive grades yet, then they will have to wait until that starts to receive this award.

Deadline: April 1^st

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES:

Spirit Nights! Dine at the restaurants listed below on the specified dates and submit a copy of your receipt to mgmtteam@excitegym.com or drop off a hard copy at the front office during business hours to receive a discount toward travel fees.

Friends and family are welcome to participate—just have them submit their receipt on your athlete’s behalf. Please be sure to include your athlete’s name with the receipt.

The total discount will be based on that night’s sales and divided among all athletes who submit receipts.

Location & Date: Circle R Ranch – Thursday Apr. 30th, 2026 (6:00-9:00)

Tickets: Athlete tickets + 1 parent ticket were billed with your November tuition. Additional tickets will be available for purchase on your parent portal between Monday Mar 2nd – Monday Apr 13th

Additional Ticket purchases will not be available after April 13^th!

Athlete/Parent Tickets are $65/person.

Due to space in the venue, siblings are not allowed at the event. Guests are limited to 2 adults/athlete, or 4 adults/athlete for split families.

3. DRESS CODE

*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.

*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed. Baggy pants and sweatshirts are not permitted.
