1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
PARENT VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITY – REQUIRED!
Since we chose to skip hosting a sanctioned meet this season, our parent volunteer event will be the In House Meet for all levels. (Pre-team parents are not required to help at this event)
SAVE THE DATE! January 18th, 2025
*It is required for one parent from each family to help at this event, and there is a $150 fine for anyone who does not volunteer. If you have a pre-planned conflict, email into gymnastics@excitegym.com by Monday, November 4th.
*What is In House Meet? In House Meet is our “recital” we put on for our recreational kiddos—they have been practicing routines and will show them off for their loved ones, just like a real gymnastics meet! It’s a big day for our rec kids and we like to go all out for them. The proceeds from this event go directly towards our gymnastics program, and it also helps promote tryouts for next season!
*Volunteer sessions will be about 2 hours long. A sign-up genius to sign up for time slots will be posted on next week’s hotline.
*Athletes are not allowed to help their parents or sit with them at the event. We have 5-6 sessions of athletes and parents coming through, so there isn’t much extra space in the facility. Please plan accordingly!
*We will have a mandatory parent meeting on Friday, January 10th where we will go over parent responsibilities, expectations, and more.
PROSHOP ITEMS – Final Call!
*We are about to do another order of Excite jackets. If you need a new one or would like to order one, please email into gymnastics@excitegym.com by Monday, November 4th to let us know. This is the last chance to get a jacket before meet season!
*FINAL CALL for our TOP selling spirit sale and Expo items. We are offering back up the excite mom tee, bling tee/ sweater, and Dad polo! Sale will close Nov 14th!
PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS
*We will have our professional photos taken in November! Please make sure you are at practice on the following dates so that you don’t miss out!
*For professional photos, the girls will wear their meet leo (practice leo for pre-team) with their hair however they’d like. They can have it down or in meet day hair. Come to practice ready for your photos and bring any leotard to change into after photos.

*November 20th: Bronze
*November 21st: Pre-team, Silver
