1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
PRACTICE UPDATES:
*Bronze, Silver, Level 6 & Gold will not have practice on January 31 since they are competing at TX Tough that day. All other levels will have practice at the following times:
Level 1, 2 and 3: Regular practice times
Level 4 & 8: 9:00-12:30
WEEKEND WEATHER
We are aware of the potential severe weather this weekend. As of now we are planning to have Friday practice in lieu of Saturday’s practice.
Friday 1/23:
-Level 1, 2, 3, Bronze: 4:00-6:00
-Level 4, Silver, Gold, Optionals: 5:00-7:00
*We are aware that LISD has closed campuses starting at 5:00 pm tomorrow. Please keep an eye on your Band for notifications – we will make the final call by 2:00 tomorrow afternoon.
PRE-MEET SEASON MEET & GREETS
RESCHEDULED
We will have mandatory parent meetings January 27-29th the last 20 minutes of practice. We will go over the upcoming meet season, what to expect, our expectations for our athletes and parent, re-introduce our staff, and give practice updates!

EXCITING CHIROPRACTIC OFFER
Coach Johnathen Baggett that works here during late evenings is also a licensed Chiropractor! We are excited to announce that he will be offering services within our building to our customers! STATE MEET SHIRTS
It’s time to order State Shirts for parents and siblings! If you would like to purchase a shirt, click the link below. All orders must be placed by January 23rd at noon. Athletes will receive a shirt; you do not need to purchase one for them. ONLY $12!!
BANQUET INFO
Location & Date: Circle R Ranch – Thursday Apr. 30th, 2026 (6:00-9:00)
Tickets: Athlete tickets + 1 parent ticket were billed with your November tuition. Additional tickets will be available for purchase on your parent portal between Monday Mar 2nd – Monday Apr 13th
Additional Ticket purchases will not be available after April 13th!
Athlete/Parent Tickets are $65/person.
Due to space in the venue, siblings are not allowed at the event. Guests are limited to 2 adults/athlete, or 4 adults/athlete for split families.

CHARITY COMMUNITY EVENT AT EXCITE!
We will be hosting a ‘Sock Hop’ to help raise funds for Lion’s Club to help fundraise for vision care, youth programs, hunger relief, disaster response, health screenings, scholarships and assistance for families in need. This is an adult only event that will include classic tunes, party games, food and drinks! Adult beverages will be available for purchase as well! We would love to see our Excite parents there!

NEW CLASS OFFERS!
Back Handspring and Conditioning!
This class is designed to help those get extra focus on their back handsprings to achieve this monumental skill. Conditioning is a major part of development. Students must be able to execute Round off with a rebound and a Back Walkover, have the knowledge and physical ability to hold themselves in a back bend or strong bridge. Conditioning elements and drills will be incorporated for strength training. Ages 7 & up. 45-Minute class.
Small Group!
This class is going to be put together in part by custom design! You will pick your own group of 4 with a similar skill set and a time offering that best fits your schedule. If you have had issues getting multiple kiddos to the gym at once or want to have a few friends tumble together, this is a great option. The 4 to 1 ratio is unbeatable for skills training and overall fun. Ages can vary, but students should be within 3 to 4 years of one another. This will be a 45-minute class set for the attendees to achieve similar goals.

Important Info:
Once we receive the schedule, we will do our best to plan a full team get together (schedule permitting). Information for the get together will be posted on the hotline. Once the schedule is posted, you are welcome to adjust your stay around your level’s meet times. We do require you to arrive in Franklin/Nashville the day before your athlete competes to plan around flight delays and make sure the girls are well rested for their meet!
Hotel information: Here are a couple of hotels that are close to the venue. It’s not required that you stay in one of these, however we do suggest talking with your teammates and trying to stay close by each other!

3. DRESS CODE
*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.
*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed. Baggy pants and sweatshirts are not permitted.
