ANNOUNCEMENTS 8.28-9.4
UPCOMING REMINDERS:
-The Gym will be CLOSED 8/29-9/1 FOR LABOR DAY. Classes and practices will resume on Tuesday 9/2.
-Premier Prep and All Star Fall Schedule begins on 9/7 with our first Sunday practices! This also marks the start of our Tumble classes and Flyer classes beginning! Flyer class is only for All Star and only for those choreographed to fly in a stunt section in the routine.
INSPIRE APPLICANTS:
We will be sending a email on Tuesday, 9/2, if you were accepted or not to be a volunteer. If you have not received a email by the end of the day, please email alisonh@excitegym.com. Thank you to all that applied!!
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: FACILITY ASSISTANT
Requirements: Driver’s License (18 or older), Good Driving Record, Ability to drive pickup trick with trailer (experienced), clear background check, available on Fridays between 10-12 and/or 2-5pm and part time hours available during the week (flexible on times), ability to lift and haul equipment.
Additional Job Expectations: Work special events, handyman abilities and addressing facility issues.

PREMIER PREP AND ALL STAR:
-October 12th and 13th: Gym is OPEN and practices are running. We realize this is a holiday for LISD, however, we will be practicing since Expo is that upcoming weekend. Please plan accordingly!
TREMOR: COMP SCHEDULE CHANGE
Due to a conflict we will be adjusting our competition schedule slightly. We will now be attending Spirit Celebration Grand Nationals on 12/6-12/7 (we will only perform one day) and will NOT be attending ACA nationals in January. We apologize for this change and have updated this information in both the program schedule and detailed schedule in the announcements section.
ALL STAR: NASHVILLE UPDATE URGENT!
This week and last week Varsity opened for competition registration. They do this is in waves by event type to be sure they don’t get overloaded and their site functions. Our company is attending 3 Grand National events, and I registered in the order of our schedule starting at the exact time it was available. Unfortunately, the Nashville event was sold out and put on a waitlist after only 7minutes and I got to the page 12 minutes after registering for Spirit Celebration and ACA which have been sold out events in the past. We are currently on that wait list but will not know until next week (hopefully) if we will be able to be included. This event has never sold out before so there was no indication from or to Varsity to be aware of this potential- otherwise I would have gone to their page first! I have contacted everyone on all platforms to see what can be done and will continue to do so. All of this to say, please hold on to book any travel arrangements for this event until we know more details. We do know that they have added Friday 3/27 as a day of the event but we do not know what teams will perform on that day. We will share with you all as soon as we find something out! Thank you for your understanding and patience! This is a first for us after doing it for over 20 years! -Alison
