NOVICE AND PREP: BRAVO CHRISTMAS CLASSIC 12/13

General Information:

-Toy donations: All toys should have been brought last week, but if you forgot, you can still bring them this week! Be sure to take them to the gym before Thursday 12/18!

-CLEAR BAG POLICY: Clear Totes: Can be made of plastic, Vinyl, or PVC. Bags cannot exceed 12”x6” X12”. Plastic storage bag: This must be a clear, resealable, one-gallon bag. Small clutch purse: Should be approximately the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap. Clutches cannot be larger than 6.5” and 4.5” without a handle or strap. PREMIER PREP AND ALL-STAR TEAMS:

There will be no team tumble or flyer classes 12/15-12/18 due to holiday parties. These will start back up in 2026!

ALL TEAMS: HOLIDAY PARTIES! 12/16-12/18! *posted 12/4*

We will be doing our annual holiday parties the last week before break! We are asking that everyone brings a wrapped gift costing around $15. You do not need to put your child’s name on the gift as we will be playing a fun game to get one! If you happen to forget, the gym will provide one for you and will charge your account $15 so they get to participate.

We wanted to give a heads up that coaches are beginning to work on Athlete Reviews! These will be handed out at your final practice before break, and they all include some homework to be completed during break. We hope this helps gives insight to what we see in practice, what they are doing amazing at and to help your athlete continue to grow in this sport! These reviews are for yours and your athlete eyes only- these are done with full focus on your child!

PREMIER PREP AND ALL STAR: WINTER BREAK WORK OUT SHEET *posted 12/11*

We will be doing another required work out sheet to be completed over Winter break. This is in similar style to the one over Thanksgiving.

For tumble and stunt videos, we will have open gym from 10:30am-11:30am on 12/22, 12/23, 12/29 and 12/30. These are FREE and are for premier prep and all-star athletes only.

National Slime Day was Sunday. All Dope Slimes are 10% off for the rest of the month

-Jacket Updates: *PUT YOUR ATHLETES NAME ON THEIR JACKET! Jackets have started being passed out as we receive them. Novice and prep will all be passed out this week. All Star some jackets came in misprinted, we are working to get replacements right now as it was a vendor error and we expect to have the rest soon. These will be passed out as soon as we receive them.

-Uniforms do take time to be made and we will pass them out as soon as we receive them!

-This will be CANCELLED. We feel we are prepped and ready for our competition!

-Athletes: Wear full uniform if you have the items. If not, then wear practice shirt with black pants or shorts and athletic shoes.

-Assistant Coaches: You will have to go to registration to get a wrist band to get into warmups. If you have an ID, be sure you have it with you. Coaches will send in BAND where to get this that morning. Arrive at least 20 minutes early to our meet time to get these picked up. Wear black practice tank with black leggings- you may also wear Black tank over your uniform for those competing shortly after. Hair needs to be pulled back in either a high ponytail or half up half down, or can be in competition style if needed. Athletic shoes and make-up should be on!

5. Half Season Teams: Sparklers and Thrill

Announcements:

- Uniforms and backpacks were passed out on 12.4. If you have any sizing concerns, please email proshop@excitegym.com and include a photo of your athlete in the uniform they received.

What to wear:

12/11: Black practice shirt, athletic shorts, hair bow and cheer shoes

12/18: Holiday Party! Wear your favorite holiday items! We will still practice so be sure it is something you can do cheer in! We will not be doing a gift exchange, but we will be having a small treat 😊
