ALL TEAMS (minus Smack): NTGU Competition Information

Tickets: This event gives us tickets at a special rate to pre sale! To keep it fair, we will be billing everyone’s account $15 with this month’s tuition to receive 1 ticket to NTGU. These are $25 at the door (5 and under are free). After the initial count, if we have additional tickets, we will sell those on a first come first serve basis. This will be alerted via email blast and/or band message on how to purchase.

PREMIER PREP AND ALL STAR: 11/30 PRACTICE TIMES *posted 10/23*

To help give everyone some extra time to travel back after the holidays, we are bumping our practice times back for Sunday 11/30. Reminder that this is a mandatory practice and All-Star athletes will have a $100 fee for missing!

Wrath and Smack will be 2-4:30pm, Dynamite 4:30-6pm, Inspire 4:45-5:30pm, Secret and Shadow 5:30-7pm, Reckless 6-7:30pm and Tremor 6:30-8pm. No Team tumble for Reckless or Tremor this date.

ALL TEAMS: BILLING CHECK IN *posted 9/25*

Per the handbook: “All accounts must be in good standing to continue team. We will check balances every other month starting in August.” Accounts must be caught up by November 1st. If you have any questions or concerns, please email office@excitegym.com .

2. WHAT TO WEAR

*Reminder that all athletes, regardless of age, must wear sports bras underneath clothing. All shirts must be this year’s given practice wear to receive credit for gold stars and smiley awards*

*Bows and cheer shoes must be worn to all practices!*

-Wish and Prep: Halloween Practice!!! Dress in Halloween wear or costumes! If you are in costume, be sure it can be practiced in or can be easily removed.

-Reckless and Tremor: Black shirt and any color shorts

SUNDAY 11/2: White shirt and black shorts. All Star teams wear program sports bra underneath.

MONDAY 11/3: Black Tank and any color shorts

TUESDAY 11/4: Black shirt and any color shorts

WEDNESDAY 11/5:

3. PROSHOP

SPIRIT SALE UPDATE: Spirit Sale Items have begun to be distributed but we are still waiting for some of the items to be delivered. Unfortunately, the small business that does most of our Spirit Sale Items, the owner lost his mother this week so there has been a delay on the last shipment he was working on for us. These items will be delivered as soon as we have them. Any orders that are complete will be sent home with your athlete or available for pickup from will call at your program’s Expo this weekend.

4. INSPIRE

Announcements:

-Uniforms do take time to be made and we will pass them out as soon as we receive them!

5. Half Season Teams: Sparklers and Thrill

Announcements:

-REMINDER THAT CHOREOGRAPHY IS THIS SUNDAY 11/2! Both teams are 3-4:30pm.

-Redline and Bravo waivers were emailed to you on 10/21. Be sure to check your spam folders! If you cannot find these, please email cheer@excitegym.com.

-BAND: We shared our QR code at our meet and greet on 10/9. You may invite anyone who will be involved in their cheer life to join that band. If you are not currently in the band for your team, please email cheer@excitegym.com and we will get you added!

-All athletes were sized for uniform on 10/9 or on 10/16. Uniform will include top, skirt and bow. Be sure to purchase your own cheer shoes! These must be all white. Our suggestion is NFinity Evolutions or something similar.

-Practice wear and sizes have also been collected. Once these arrive, we will get them out to you!

What to wear:

-November 28th: Banquet Billing

-May 1st-3rd: THE SUMMIT in Orlando, FL. Bid required to attend. Dynamite, Wrath and Smack only. Extra practices and show off leading to event TBD.
