ANNOUNCEMENTS 10.9-10.16
ALL TEAMS: EXPO! *updated 10/16*
Saturday, October 18th:
Extra Practices! Times adjusted on 9/25! Novice and Prep will practice 9-10am and Premier Prep and All Star will practice 10am-11:30am.
Sunday, October 19th: Expo DAY!
-Morning volunteers need to arrive at 9am!
-All pre purchased tickets will be passed out between 10/14-10/18 at practices. All other tickets will be available at will call or can be purchased on the day of the event.
-Flowers: If you ordered flowers, those will be available at the will call table.
-Athletes arrive at 2pm FULLY ready! When entering, athletes will be directed to the tunnel and parents may head up the stairs or leave. Performances will start at 4pm!
-After performing: Teams will be released in waves for parents to sign athlete out with team parent/coach. Our current plan is to release athletes outside to the small alley way to the right of the venue. Listen to announcements and watch band for any changes!

ALL TEAMS: POST EXPO WEEK 10/20-10/23 *Updated 10/16*
10/20-10/23 We will be having Pre-Comp Season Meetings AND professional photos!
We decided to knock these out in the same practice to make it easier on everyone. Below is the schedule for your team, but please read the notes below on both portions first!
Pictures:
-We are thrilled to be using MySportaits again for our photos this year! All orders will be sent directly by the company. Order Information below! We will do individual shots, some small group shots and individual photos will be compiled to form a team picture. Athletes will need to wear their uniform top, skirt and cheer shoes. Hair will need to be down and styled however you like- no cheer bows or ribbons in! Make-up can be done however you’d like but we would like some on- no red lips.

Pre- Comp Season Meetings:
This is required for one parent/guardian to attend. This is very important in helping us be on the same page before our competitions hit!
ALL TEAMS: LOYALTY BANQUET AWARDS
Please check the link below to confirm your athletes years in the program! We already did this earlier this season but are doing a final double check before items are purchased. Below are only those set to receive a 3 year, 5 year or 7 year loyalty awards. Please email cheer@excitegym.com by 10/30 if something is incorrect.
ALL TEAMS: BILLING CHECK IN *posted 9/25*
Per the handbook: “All accounts must be in good standing to continue team. We will check balances every other month starting in August.” Accounts must be caught up by November 1st. If you have any questions or concerns, please email office@excitegym.com .
ALL TEAMS: BREAST CANCER DONATIONS *posted 9/25*
We are going to be collecting donations starting this Monday, 9/26, through the end of October to donate to Breast Cancer Research. We will be competing between teams to earn little prizes along the way and the overall team winner will get to pie their coaches in the face! Please bring these to team practices and turn into team coaches to collect- not the donation bucket at the front desk.

3. PROSHOP
SPIRIT SALE UPDATE: Spirit Sale Items have begun to be distributed but we are still waiting for some of the items to be delivered. Unfortunately, the small business that does most of our Spirit Sale Items, the owner lost his mother this week so there has been a delay on the last shipment he was working on for us. These items will be delivered as soon as we have them. Any orders that are complete will be sent home with your athlete or available for pickup from will call at your program’s Expo this weekend.
4. INSPIRE
Expo: 10/19!
What to wear:
-Athletes will wear their uniform if they have it. If they do not have their uniform yet, they will wear the practice shirt (given on Sunday 10/12) with black shorts or leggings. All athletes will need hair in a high ponytail with competition bow (give on Sunday 10/12). Buddies can and will help with hair and make-up but they can also arrive with those items done and on.
-Assistant Coaches will wear their uniform with black practice tank over top.

-Inspire athletes will be released following their performance. After they go, we will meet parents and families down by the entrance for pick up. You are more than welcome to stay and watch our other teams perform, but we wanted to get them back to you all quickly just in case!
Announcements:
-Due to some conflicts, we will NOT be practicing on Saturday, October 18th. We feel confident we can have our routine done and ready to perform on October 19th for Expo!
-Uniforms do take time to be made and we will pass them out as soon as we receive them!
5. Half Season Teams: Sparklers and Thrill

You did it! You successfully have checked the hotline!!! Thank you!!!
-All athletes were sized for uniform on 10/9 or on 10/16. Uniform will include top, skirt and bow. Be sure to purchase your own cheer shoes! These must be all white. Our suggestion is NFinity Evolutions or something similar.
-Practice wear and sizes have also been collected. Once these arrive, we will get them out to you!
-This upcoming Sunday we are doing our Cheer Expo with our full season teams! This will be held at Marcus High School in the Activities Gym behind the freshman campus. If you want to see what these teams look like, we would love to have you there! Tickets will be $25 at the door- 5 and under are free!

Any red, black or white shirts, athletic shorts, hair bow and cheer shoes.
