1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS
HOLIDAY PARTY
*Our Holiday party will be on December 17th during regular practice times. Athletes can wear holiday attire along with their regular practicewear.
*Gift exchange: we are doing a Holiday gift exchange for our teams. Participation is optional – anyone who brings gifts for their teams will be a part of the exchange!
*In lieu of our typical gift exchange, we are doing smaller team gifts this year – bring a small gift for each person on your team ($2-3/person).

Rockets: 10 athletes
MEET DAY UNIFORM
All meet jerseys and jackets have been distributed. Backpacks will be distributed the first week of December!
SAVE THE DATE
We are planning on doing a pre-season showoff at the in-house meet (hosted at Excite!) on January 10th. Save the date – more info TBA.
EXTRA PRACTICE – JANUARY 4TH
We will have a mandatory extra practice on January 4th.
DRESS CODE
Monday – Wear white Excite! Row the boat shirt with spanks and acro shoes
Wednesday – Wear any Excite! Shirt or a primarily red, black, or white shirt with spanks and acro shoes

3. IMPORTANT REMINDERS
ATTENDANCE EXPECTATIONS
*As we are now into the part of the season where we have a routine and are preparing for meets, it is extremely important that your athlete is at practices on time and for the entirety of the practice. Missing one athlete can make an entire stunt group unable to perform that section of their routine, or an entire pyramid not being able to build. Please communicate any absences in advance with coaches by emailing acro@excitegym.com, and if it a day-of absence due to an emergency or being sick, please text with Coach Caitlin, Coach Mo, and Coach Dane all included in the text. If your child is sick and it’s within 2 weeks of a meet, it might be requested that they attend practice with a mask to watch or partially participate if possible.
DRESS CODE – Important!
It is required for all athletes to wear a sports bra under their shirt, regardless of age.
It is required for all athletes to wear athletic shoes to each practice. Please purchase your acro shoes if you haven’t already so your athlete can start getting used to tumbling and stunting with shoes on! If they don’t have acro shoes yet, they can wear other tennis shoes until their acro shoes come in.
