EXPO – READ IN FULL!
October 25th at Marcus High School
WE COULD USE SOME VOLUNTEERS FOR SET UP & BREAK DOWN OF THIS EVENT! Help will require heavy lifting – all volunteers will get a free ticket entry into Expo. Please email directors@excitegym.com if you are able to help with either set up or break down.
Set Up/ Break Down Volunteers: First, thank you!!!! The gym and staff greatly appreciate your help with this event! We suggest bringing some work gloves as we will be carrying wood to set up the floor. If you volunteer for the set-up crew, you will arrive at 9am and meet by the main entrance to the arena. As soon as we are set up, you will be free to go! If you volunteered for break down crew, you will head down to the main floor once the final team performs (go down the main stairs and turn right, after the elevators, turn right again down the hall). As soon as we are done, you will be free to go!
Arrival:
Doors will open at 2pm for all to enter so you can have time to check out the vendors and Proshop. At your team’s time below, athletes will need to head down to the basketball court. Head down the main stairs and follow the hall to the right. Coaches and volunteers will greet athletes at the door and help get them checked in with their team. Please be sure they arrive in full uniform (including shoes with white ankle socks), competition hair, and light make-up if desired. They may bring a water bottle if desired- NO SNACKS. Be sure they are fueled up when they arrive!
Parents and fans may go upstairs to enjoy concessions and vendors until the show starts!
-Firecrackers- Be on the court by 2:15pm
-Rockets- Be on the court by 2:45pm.
Performance: Teams will begin performing at 4pm sharp! Parents are welcome to sit anywhere in the arena. There are designated handicap areas at the top and there is elevator access to get there. Athletes will stay down on the floor with coaches and volunteers until all teams are done performing.
Performance order: Inspire, Wish, Tiny Tikis, Mini Moanas, Diamond Divas, Firecrackers, Believe, Dazzle, Ambition, Crush, Reckless, Rockets, Gossip, Lady Ex and Excite! Parent Routine
Following Performances: Coaches will be bringing athletes to parents. Acro teams will be brought outside to the alley way on the right side of the building. Do not leave until you have signed your child out!
