1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

CONGRATULATIONS!

*Congratulations to Bella and Sophia on a great USAG meet at FEW last weekend! Both girls had incredible routines—Bella received 1st place on floor, 5th on vault, and 8th All Around, and Sophia placed 2nd on beam, floor, and All Around! Way to go girls!

SATURDAY INTENSIVES

*SATURDAY INTENSIVES WILL BE FROM 12:00-2:00 ON 9/23. They will return to their regular time on 9/30. *Saturday Intensives have begun! CLICK HERE TO ENROLL *Level 1, 2, and Bronze will need coaches’ approval before enrolling in intensives.

IN HOUSE MEET: January 6, 2024

-This meet is REQUIRED for one parent from each to volunteer at (levels 1, 2, and Bronze). Failure to fulfill your volunteer requirement will result in a $150 fine, per the gymnastics handbook. Please save the date now and more information will be posted on future hotlines! -Levels 3, 4, 5, 6, Silver, Gold, and Platinum will have their volunteer requirement at Beach Bash held at Excite! in March. UPCOMING PRACTICE CHANGES

*We will have practice Columbus Day, October 9th. *We will not have practice on Friday, October 13th, as the staff will be at a company outing.

2024 IN HOUSE CAMP *In House Camp for all levels will be at Excite July 10-13, 2024. *This is included in team billing with no extra charge. Mandatory for all athletes.

EXCITE! EXPO

*Excite! Expo is our big season starting showoff each year! This is the first time that the girls get to show off their routines, they will get judged by Coach Janet on one event, and it is a great practice meet to set off the 2024 competition season! Mandatory for all athletes. Date: October 29th (times TBA) Attire & What to Bring: Meet day attire (meet leo, meet hair, black capris/leggings, warm up jacket, Excite! backpack, easy shoes, clean & healthy snack, water bottle with closeable lid)

PROSHOP UPDATE *SPIRIT SALE: Thank you to everyone who ordered from the spirit sale! All items should arrive by expo.

*MEET LEOS: All meet leos were passed out this week to anyone that placed an order.

*EMBROIDERY: If you would like to get your athletes name on their backpack or warm up jacket, please take them to Flip Dog Sportswear located in our parking lot. They will know what font and color to use for both items. Contact phone number: 972-691-3557.

3. BILLING

*Qualifying Meets: TAAF meet fees and USAG meet fees for Gold, Platinum, and Level 6 will be billed on October 16th. Please write in to office@excitegym.com for any special billing requests.

-Level 1, 2, Bronze: $320

-Level 3, 4, 5, 6, Silver, Gold, Platinum: $340 + Travel meet fees (amounts TBA on future hotlines)

-USAG Gold, Platinum, Level 6: USAG qualifiers & Travel meet fees to be posted on next week’s hotline

*Banquet fees will be auto drafted for athletes + one parent on January 31st with February tuition. Additional parent ticket purchasing information will be posted on future hotlines. (Amounts TBA)

*State Meet Fees: TAAF State meet fees and USAG Gold, Platinum, and Level 6 state meet fees will be billed on March 15th, 2024. (Amounts TBA).

4. DRESS CODE

*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.

*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed.
