1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

UPCOMING PRACTICE CHANGES

-Holiday practice schedule: December 20th: -With so many school districts having school on this day, we will have an optional open workout for all gym team levels from 12:00-2:00 pm in lieu of the previously scheduled practice for all gym team members to attend if they’d like. December 21st: No practice December 27th, 28th: -Levels 1, 2, Bronze: 9:00-11:00 -Levels 3, 4, 5, 6, Silver, Gold, Platinum: 10:00-1:00

-We will not have practice on January 5th due to a staff meeting.

HAPPY HOUR – December 16th—cancelled due to low enrollment

HOLIDAY OPEN GYMS

$5 for members / $10 for nonmembers / free for 2022-23 gold star winners -December 20: 12:00-2:00 pm -December 27 & 28th: 2:00-3:00 & 4:00-5:00

BANQUET INFORMATION

(The deadline to purchase extra banquet tickets will be April 2nd. KIP CLINIC

*Levels 3, 4, Silver and Gold athletes! We have a kip clinic running on Saturday mornings from 9:30-10:00 before intensives. This is a great opportunity to get some extra work in on those kips! CLICK HERE TO ENROLL

CONDITIONING CHALLENGE

December can be a busy month! 😊 We will do an in-gym conditioning challenge for the month of December!At home worksheets will be posted on BANDS to earn an extra gold star over the break!

FOOD DRIVE

LOST AND FOUND

Lost and Found will be donated again for the holidays. It will be donated on Wed Dec 20th.

IN HOUSE MEET: January 6, 2024

Parent Meeting: We will have a parent meeting on January 3rd from 5:30-6:00 to go over parent placements and expectations at the meet. This meet is REQUIRED for one parent from each family to volunteer (levels 1, 2, and Bronze). Failure to fulfill your volunteer requirement will result in a $150 fine, per the gymnastics handbook. *Levels 3, 4, 5, 6, Silver, Gold, and Platinum will have their volunteer requirement at Beach Bash held at Excite! on March 15-18, 2024. *All athletes will have Biles and WOGA to qualify for USAG state. If they do not qualify at one of those meets and need Rose City Classic to qualify, we will use that as their make-up meet. -Make up meet: Rose City Classic (March 2-3, 2024)

3. BILLING

*Banquet fees will be auto drafted for athletes + one parent on January 31st with February tuition. Additional parent ticket purchasing information will be posted on future hotlines. (Amounts TBA)

*State Meet Fees: TAAF State meet fees and USAG Gold, Platinum, and Level 6 state meet fees will be billed on March 15th, 2024. (Amounts TBA).

4. DRESS CODE

*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.

*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed.

2024 TRAVEL CAMP

2024 Travel Camp will be June 22-25, 2024. SAVE THE DATE! Travel camp will be required for athletes who are currently levels 3, 4, 5, 6, Silver, Gold, and Platinum (8 or older). *Added to hotline August 31, 2023
