1. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

UPCOMING PRACTICE CHANGES

-On December 8th, levels 1, 2, and Bronze will have practice from 5:00-6:30, then Nutcracker run through and performance at 6:30. -December 8th will be our holiday party from 5:00-6:30. We will play games, make treats, and have a gift exchange with a $20 limit. -Holiday practice change: We will not have holiday practice on December 21st. All other holiday practices will be from 9:00-11:00 for Levels 1, 2, Bronze / 10:00-1:00 for Levels 3, 4, 5, 6, Silver, Gold, Platinum-We will not have practice on January 5th due to a staff meeting.

KIP CLINIC

*Levels 3, 4, Silver and Gold athletes! We have a kip clinic running on Saturday mornings from 9:30-10:00 before intensives. This is a great opportunity to get some extra work in on those kips! CLICK HERE TO ENROLL

PICK UP INFORMATION

*Waiting in the circle driveway in the gym’s parking lot is not permitted. This blocks a lane of traffic, and that space is a two-way street. Please find a parking spot to wait for your athlete to ensure the safety of all athletes and families at the gym.

HAPPY HOUR—PARENTS NIGHT OUT

We are hosting a Happy Hour open gym from 5pm-7pm on December 16th! This costs $5 and is open to anyone in elementary school! This will be at the Main Gym and Pizza will be provided. CLICK HERE TO ENROLL

IN HOUSE MEET: January 6, 2024

NEW INFO: CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR YOUR VOLUNTEER TIME! -Options: 8:00-12:15 (2 meet sessions) 12:45-4:30 (2 meet sessions) 4:15-8:00 (1 meet session + break down/clean up)This meet is REQUIRED for one parent from each family to volunteer (levels 1, 2, and Bronze). Failure to fulfill your volunteer requirement will result in a $150 fine, per the gymnastics handbook. Please save the date now and more information will be posted on future hotlines! *Levels 3, 4, 5, 6, Silver, Gold, and Platinum will have their volunteer requirement at Beach Bash held at Excite! on March 15-18, 2024. Gold ONLY—USAG INFO: All athletes will have Biles Invitational to qualify for USAG state. If they do not qualify at one of those meets and would like to attend WOGA, please email gymnastics@ by October 16th so we can register them. Rose City Classic will be used only as a make-up meet if they did not qualify at Biles or WOGA.

3. BILLING

*Banquet fees will be auto drafted for athletes + one parent on January 31st with February tuition. Additional parent ticket purchasing information will be posted on future hotlines. (Amounts TBA)

*State Meet Fees: TAAF State meet fees and USAG Gold, Platinum, and Level 6 state meet fees will be billed on March 15th, 2024. (Amounts TBA).

*Additional USAG Meets: Additional USAG meets will be billed on November 15th.

4. DRESS CODE

*For dress code, you don’t have to wear a leo that is the specified color. If the color is yellow, but you don’t have a yellow leo, you can wear yellow shorts, a yellow headband, a yellow scrunchie, etc.

*It is mandatory that all gymnasts wear a leo to every practice. Hair must be neatly pulled back, secured out of their face. Tight fitting bar shorts or capris are allowed.

2024 TRAVEL CAMP

2024 Travel Camp will be June 22-25, 2024. SAVE THE DATE! Travel camp will be required for athletes who are currently levels 3, 4, 5, 6, Silver, Gold, and Platinum (8 or older). *Added to hotline August 31, 2023

6.TORCH

Win the torch by going above and beyond throughout practices and meets, take the torch home, add a decoration, and bring it back to your next practice!
