If you are planning or wanting to be on All Star team next season, please go ahead and block off these dates for our mandatory camp!!! JUNE 22ND-25TH, 2024. This is in the important dates section now too. We will get all choreography dates out as soon as possible.

ALL TEAMS: COLUMBUS DAY/WEEKEND

We WILL be open October 8th and 9th. This is the only LISD closing we do not follow since we are so close to competition season starting and need these practices. This is now noted in the Important Dates section.

INSPIRE VOLUNTEER APPLICANTS:

You will receive an email next week if you have or have not been accepted to be a volunteer for this season. If you do not receive an email by 5pm Wednesday- please email into cheer@.

ALL STAR: STUNT GROUP PRACTICE OPTIONS

As told to athletes on Monday at practice, we are highly encouraging and rewarding stunt groups coming in outside of practice to work on their stunts. To make this an option, we do have to have some regulations.

1. You can do a private lesson with a coach. *Highly encouraged! * Your whole group must be able to attend and you can set these up like would any other private lesson. NO gym fee for these lessons and fee with be $5 per athlete directly to the coach for 30 minutes.

2. If a private is not scheduled, your group can come in before practice or stay after but cannot exceed 15 minutes. Put in your athlete band if your group is planning to come in or stay after so coaches are aware and can help set aside a small space for you. Please send this message 48 hours in advance. Sunday practices are preferred since the gym is not as crowded.

ALL STAR TEAMS: OBSERVATION ROOM

Due to the high volume in our observation room, we will be making Monday and Wednesday practices closed for viewing but will have Sundays be open practices for you to watch. This will start on September 10th.

ALL STAR: ELITE FLYER CLASS- MANDATORY

These will be starting up on Sunday, September 10th. This is only for the names listed below. We will also be starting a Flyer BAND- invites will be sent out on or prior to the 10th. All names below are already enrolled.

12:30pm-1:45pm: Lady eX flyers (Rachael, Taryn and Kenzie)

3pm-3:45pm: Courage flyers (Madalyn, Kali, Quinn, Jordyn and Hadley) and Dynamite flyers (Sarah, Lucy, Indy, Kaytin and Savannah)

4:30-5:15pm: Obsession flyers (Lindsey, Adi, Olivia, Audrey M, Leah, Ella and Peyton) and Fearless flyers (Annalise, Drey, Claire and Brooklyn)

PREMIER PREP: FLYER OPPORTUNITY

For the names listed below, we will allow you to attend the All Star flyer class on Sundays for FREE! This is not mandatory but is a great opportunity to build flexibility and flying experience to be ready for All Star next season. This class will run on Sundays starting September 10th from 12:30pm-1:45pm.

For some of the events we are attending this year, there is a requirement for your athlete to have an account with USASF (U.S. All Star Federation). This is something that YOU are responsible for, the gym cannot do it for you.

This has deadline of SEPTEMBER 1ST to be completed. After September 1st, you will be charged $15 per week until completed.

Extra notes:

– You will have to pay for this membership; we have this listed as additional expenses in our handbook.

-If your athlete will be 18 before June 1st, 2024- they will have to complete a background check and a safety course. These can take some time to clear so get started on that now!

-This will require a government issued ID to make your athlete’s account. You can use a birth certificate, drivers license or passport.

-Do not use autofill! There have been issues in the past with this so we suggest typing everything in yourself.

-If you have any questions or issues, please email support@usasf.net. The gym cannot access your account to help so you will need to contact them directly.

ALL TOP GIRLS: STUNTING PRIVATES NOW AVAILABLE!!

Excite! Coaches Alyssa & Jake are now offering flyer stunt privates. Our focus for these lessons is for the athletes to learn great technique and improve on body positions at all levels. Each session will have the 2 coaches basing and putting athlete’s in the air. Time slots available Wednesdays 3PM – 5PM and Friday 4PM– 7PM. These can be 30-minute sessions or 60-minute sessions. SPIRIT SALE: Thank you to everyone who ordered from the spirit sale! All items should arrive by expo.

VARSITY PRACTICE WEAR: According to the ETA from Varsity, practice wear will not arrive until EXPO.

September 1st: All Star and Premier Prep athletes must be registered with USASF. September 1st-4th: GYM CLOSED- no practices or classes September 10th: All Star Sunday Practices and Elite Flyer classes begin

September 10th: Inspire Begins

October 8th and 9th: GYM IS OPEN! We do not close with LISD for this holiday since it is so close to competition season.

October 27th: Trunk or Treat Team event (more information to come) October 28th: Extra Practices: NOVICE, PREP, PREMIER PREP, ALL STAR, INSPIRE. Times TBD. October 29th: EXCITE! EXPO! -Novice, Prep, Premier Prep, All Star and Inspire October 31st: GYM CLOSED- no practices or classes

There will be camps, clinics and open options during this period. January 2nd: All Star MANDATORY return practice. January 12th: Extra Practice- Prep and All Star. January 13th and 14th: COMPETITION- Half season, Inspire, Prep and All Star.

January 27th and January 28th: COMPETITION- Premier Prep and All Star January 31st: Banquet Billing. From Handbook: “You will be charged for 1 athlete and 1 parent ticket per child. Cost will be between $30-$40 each.”

February 3rd: COMPETITION- half season, Inspire, Novice, Prep. All Star TBD. February 17th: ALL STAR TRAVEL COMP- Shreveport, LA. All Star only.

February 25th-28th: NCA Week! Premier Prep and All-Star teams will practice every day during this time period.

February 29th: Potential Practice- Premier Prep and All Star. You will find out on Wednesday night if your team is practicing this date.

February 26th-29th: NO HALF SEASON, NOVICE OR PREP TEAM PRACTICES. This is due to NCA week and those teams needing to come in extra. This was listed in your handbook.

March 1st-3rd: NCA NATIONALS! Premier Prep will compete on the 1st. Courage will compete on the 1st and 2nd. Dynamite, Obsession, Fearless and Lady eX will compete on the 2nd and 3rd.

March 10th-17th: GYM CLOSED FOR SPRING BREAK. Practices and classes will resume on Monday the 18th.

March 22nd: Extra Practice- Novice and Prep. Times TBD.

March 23rd: COMPETITION- Novice and Prep

March 28th: Banquet for Prep, Premier Prep and All Star Teams *edited 8.31.23*

March 30th: End of season for Novice Teams *Novice end of year party TBD*

April 11th-14th: Seniors and All-Star coaches in Daytona for College Nationals.
