ALL TEAMS: TRYOUTS
Tryout Packet and Registration:
-This will be available within the next 2 weeks! This will include dates, information and how to enroll!
Handbook:
-NEW THIS YEAR: We are requiring returning members to attend one of the 2 available handbook meetings this season. One parent or guardian must attend.
-April 7th: 25-26 Novice/Prep Returning Members 7-7:30pm. 25-26 Premier Prep and All-Star Returning Members 7:30-8pm
-May 6th: 25-26 Novice/Prep Returning Members 7-7:30pm. 25-26 Premier Prep and All-Star Returning Members 7:30-8pm

Excite Info: *Updated scheduled and information was emailed out on Monday, 3/23 and then a second one was emailed out on 3/25. Below is the updated comp times, but please read all information from the Monday email!
Packing List:
-All Uniform Items should be packed in a carry-on bag if flying. This should include shoes, socks, and bow.
-Row the boat shirt- to be worn on Saturday over uniform or while watching teams.
-Any Excite shirts you want to wear while travelling or around Nashville to represent!!
SECRET AND DYNAMITE: ADJUSTED PRACTICE SCHEDULE
With so many of our kids making HS Cheer (CONGRATS!), we will be adjusting times for the rest of the season, starting April 1st. We will now be practicing 6-7:30pm on Monday and Wednesdays. With this change, we will not be able to do team tumble or flyer classes sadly. Sunday times will remain the same of 12:30pm-2pm. Thank you for your understanding!
LISD STUDENTS: EXTERNAL PE
This is now open for you to register for the upcoming school year! While you may not know your exact team times, you can go ahead and enroll with the hours your athlete is currently doing. Please use cheer@excitegym.com as the address and Alison Howard as the coach.
PREMIER PREP AND ALL STAR: TUMBLE/ FLYER CLASSES *UPDATED 3/26 With all the adjustments on schedules, we have had to make the decision to cancel team tumble times for the remainder of the season. Athletes will be released at their scheduled end time for those practices. We apologize for the inconvenice and changes here!
PREMIER PREP: URGENT REGIONAL SUMMIT!
-DATE CHANGE: Unfortunately, there was a date change without notification from Varsity. Prep teams will be competing on FRIDAY, APRIL 10TH for Regional Summit. We greatly apologize for this inconvenience and are in discussions with Varsity on date change alerts needing to take place.
-TIME BLOCK: Tremor’s division will compete between 3pm-4:30pm/ Shadow between 4:30pm-6:40pm and Reckless between 6:40pm-8pm. *This is just a tentative schedule, and times may vary when final schedules are released.
-PRACTICES: We will be practicing on Tuesday 4/7 and Thursday 4/9 all together from 7pm-8:30pm. Themes to come! No practices on Sunday 3/29 or 4/5
NOVICE and PREP: END OF SEASON
We can’t thank you all enough for a wonderful season! At this time, our season is officially over ☹
-Next Steps: With there still being time before tryouts begin, we will be offering additional training for the next month to help continue to build skills and have coaches evaluate for best team placements. Everyone will automatically be enrolled. If you do NOT want to participate, please email office@excitegym.com by March 27th! Bililng will run with March tuition and those that stay in will be able to keep their team tumble class rate!
-Novice: All current novice members will come on Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm. We will split into smaller groups to work on, tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, conditioning, etc. This will cost $75 and will run March 31st- April 21st.
-Prep: All current prep members will come on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm. We will split into smaller groups to work on; tumbling, stunting, jumps, motions, conditioning, etc. This will cost $110 and will run March 31st- April 23rd.
-Tryout Sign-ups: You should have received an email over Spring Break with which clinic classification to sign up for. If you did not receive one, please email in asap! Some athletes may have more than one choice listed- if that is the case, you can choose which one you would prefer! These are NOT final decisions on classification or team placements. These may change during the tryout process- this is just a jumping off point for the start of our tryout process.

PREP/ PREMIER PREP AND ALL STAR: BANQUET 4/19
-Where: Circle R Ranch
-When: April 19th from 6-9pm
-Tickets: Everyone has already been billed for their athlete ticket and one parent ticket. ALL TEAMS: SMALL GROUP CLASSES
We put out a while back of offering some Small Group classes and have plenty of options available! These classes are either 45 minutes with 4 members, or you can do 30 minutes with 3 members. You can find friends or just get enrolled! Each class will show as a waitlist so we can evaluate those in the class before starting to ensure it will best benefit those involved. This is great heading into tryouts to get some extra work with a lower ratio class!! **WE ARE OFFERING FOR TEAM MEMBERS TO ENROLL AT A REGULAR CLASS RATE!!!**
