-Thursday 12.28 2pm-3pm: This is available for ANYONE! $5 members/ $10 nonmembers and must pre-enroll through the parent portal. It will be listed under Holiday Camps/ Clinics. This is free for 2023 Gold Star Winners premier prep and all-star athletes- you do not have to enroll.
-Tuesday 1.2 1:30-2:00pm/ 3:00-3:30pm/ 4:30-5pm: This is available for Premier Prep and All Star ONLY to get their required skill videos filmed.
-Wednesday 1.3 3pm-3:45pm: This is available for Premier Prep and All Star ONLY to get their required skill videos filmed.

Our very own coach Noelle is going to be running a fitness class at the gym! These classes will run from January 7th-21st and are geared towards adults. There is also a Parent & me options for those with kids walking to age 3 ½! CLICK HERE FOR ALL INFORMATION
ALL TEAMS: ATHLETE EVALUATIONS
Coaches passed out Athlete Evaluations at their final practice this last week (12.12-12.14). These come with homework for your athlete to return after break. If you were not present for this practice and/or left it at the gym, you may pick it up from the front office. The gym and office will be fully open on Monday and Tuesday; after that, you can pick it up during camp/clinic times over the break.
This is something that we take the time to do to give extra communication to athletes and parents on their progress so far this season. We do this to help your athlete to improve, to share what coaches see they are excelling in, to give your athlete constructive improvement plan and for your athlete to know what to work on to move forward. All intent is to help your athlete to improve- we want to always be moving forward! Athletes improving means our teams are improving and means our program is improving!
ALL TEAMS: STANDARD UPDATES
Missing practice for illness the week of competition: If your athlete is unable to come to practice due to illness the week of competition; the expectation should be that your athlete will be replaced for that event. This is to ensure team success and to protect the ill athlete. If they are unable to come and partially participate, then we can’t expect them to do a full routine days later. We will ask that any athlete coming to the gym the week of an event that is sick wear a mask to help protect athletes and coaches.
Moving up classifications from season to season: We have been using our Gold Stars to help motivate athletes, to open communication between athletes and to help give families discounts for next season. We are going to start to use these as a measurement of being eligible to move up to the next classification at tryouts next year. Getting a gold star each week is the basic standard for our program and not achieving those does not warrant a move up to the next classification where the standards become more and more important. Reminder on how to get a gold star; be on time, wear the correct practice wear, have strong work ethic, make coach corrections, and have a positive attitude.

Price: $30 Athletes and Assistant Coaches/ $35 Parent. Assistant coach parents WILL be allowed to attend this year since we are at a larger venue! It is not required but is an option.

How to Order: These will be available online for you to purchase through the parent portal.

5. HALF SEASON TEAMS: SPARKLERS AND THRILL
Announcements:
-We will not have any team practices from December 15th-January 2nd. Please be sure your athlete reviews their routine over break! Our competition will come up quick once we return!
-Team BANDs have been made! If you did not receive an invite or want an additional number added, please email into cheer@excitegym.com and include the phone number you need added.
-Uniforms and Practice Wear: All items have been ordered and will be passed out to you as soon as they come in!
Our next practice will be on January 4th!
Wear any red, black or white based t shirt/ athletic shorts/ cheer shoes *We will be checking to make sure everyone has their pair needed for competition. Reminder that these need to be all white athletic shoes. If you want to purchase cheer shoes, we suggest the infinity evolutions which can be ordered on Amazon.

March 1st-3rd: NCA NATIONALS! Premier Prep will compete on the 1st. Courage will compete on the 1st and 2nd. Dynamite, Obsession, Fearless and Lady eX will compete on the 2nd and 3rd.
March 4th: Deadline to order Novice, Prep, Premier Prep and All Star Banquet tickets. Deadline to send in any dietary restrictions for banquet.
March 10th-17th: GYM CLOSED FOR SPRING BREAK. Practices and classes will resume on Monday the 18th.

May 2nd-5th: The Summit in Orlando, FL. All Star TBD. Registration Fees: $456 if at large bid received, $228 if Partial Paid Bid received, $0 if paid bid received. These are commuter prices, and none include park hopper tickets- this is only to compete and enter ESPN Wide Worlds of Sports.*This fee only covers your athlete’s registration to compete at the event.*
