EXCITE! Cheer Tryout Clinics – Dates and Times

Come now and join one of the best Cheer Companies in the country and in the World. Excite! trains hard but plays equally as hard and believes we are here to develop responsible future leaders. You hear everyone say "My Excite! Family" and it is a statement that comes from our hearts and souls. Come see what Excite! has to offer in winning teams, memories, friends and athletic training to the top level of this great sport! Excite! doesn't dabble in cheer we DO cheer.

Just ask our current 250 cheerleaders and their families that have been with us since the day we opened our doors. Coming up on our 10 year celebration this year. Be here for the 10 year party!

All paperwork is REQUIRED before clinics start.
The tryout clinic on Tuesday 3/23/08 is mandatory. All other days are optional. The same material will be reviewed and taught each day. On Tuesday, please plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to clinic time and check in the fitness room for pictures and instructions. Staff will be available to direct you.
At the tryout clinics, the coaches will teach the tryout dance, cheer and jump series. They will re-teach this everyday so that everyone will feel confident in their abilities.
There is NO parent viewing during Friday or Saturday tryouts.
All cheerleaders will receive scores for jumps, dance & motions, standing and running tumbling and overall performance.
All cheerleaders are trying out for the Excite! Cheer Company (ECC), not a specific team. If you will only consider a specific team or level, please do not tryout.
Dress code – black shorts, plain white or Excite! based tee shirt and cheer or athletic shoes. Pull hair back for safety. There are no make up requirements. Bring a labeled water bottle to each clinic and tryouts; no sports drinks.

Parent Meetings

It is mandatory to attend one parent meetingIf a parent cannot attend one of the meetings, a special handbook review must be scheduled prior to the cheerleader being able to participate in the cheer company. Email cheer@excitegym.com by 3/25 to arrange a meeting with Julie.
